The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain three-phase electrical systems and industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Install, repair, and replace motors, contactors, relays, breakers, sensors, switches, transformers, and related electrical components.
- Troubleshoot motor controls, variable-frequency drives, control panels, and production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, belts, chains, conveyors, pumps, fans, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, facility repairs, and continuous-improvement projects.
- Maintain tools, work areas, and maintenance spaces in a clean and organized condition.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to safely use a multimeter and other electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of industrial motors, motor controls, electrical panels, relays, contactors, sensors, and variable-frequency drives.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong safety mindset with an understanding of lockout/tagout, electrical hazards, machine guarding, and required personal protective equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Welding and metal-fabrication experience.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience operating forklifts, aerial lifts, hoists, and other industrial equipment.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, pull, and work from ladders or elevated platforms.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, including outdoor areas.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and follow all facility safety requirements.
