Material Handler 2nd Shift

Essential Functions

• Shipping Band, shrink-wrap and stage units for shipment, and load staged units onto truck Transport units from assembly to shipping area Follow shipping and packaging work instructions Follow sales order by dates to ensure on time delivery goals are met Pick and pack UPS shipments Process all dunnage to include scrap pallets and returnable
• Daily Tasks
  
  

Check hot sheet daily

Report inventory discrepancies

Exercise safe working habits while operating machines

Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards

Comply with the Quality Management System

Regular attendance and other duties as assigned

Education and Training

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to read and write legibly in English
• Must be able to speak in English via a two-way radio
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Forklift Experience Required - Sit down and Reach truck
• Computer skills and knowledge of MRP systems preferred
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions
