Summary Of Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to support the daily manufacturing operations and processes in the facility. This will include maintaining and improving equipment in terms of safety, quality, and productivity. This position will develop programs and parameters for selected production processes. This position identifies and implements process improvements. This position will also be responsible for training associates.

Essential Functions
- Maximize up-time of equipment by improving reliability and repeatability
- Assists in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment to include robots
- Coordinate and assist with equipment installation and start-ups
- Assist in evaluating tooling and hardware to ensure optimum performance
- Assist in the development of quality systems for new products and processes
- Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences or forming consistency can be improved to increase product quality and/or throughput
- Decrease robotic cycle times by implementing advanced welding technology methods
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance/technology, welding technology, electronics or similar is desired
- 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Equipment maintenance experience and welding knowledge
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and plumbing systems
- Ability to interpret prints, sketches, verbal instructions, and mathematical data to generate tooling, gauging, fixturing and material handling for systems
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements linked to OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC
- Robotic systems programming experience preferred
- Understanding of PLC programs
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
