This role offers the opportunity to drive the engineering design process, installation, PPAP, and long-term technical support of manufacturing processes while collaborating with different functional groups within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting quality, capability, cost, and time targets. They will also participate in product and process design reviews, contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, and actively report any safety concerns.
A bachelor's degree in a related technical area (Mechanical preferred) is required. Minimum qualifications include 5 years of engineering experience, professional experience in manufacturing engineering, and proficiency in Solidworks. Physical demands of the role include frequent sitting and work at a computer for extended periods of time, willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities, and ability to work hands on with support groups.
