The Sales & Marketing Intern will support the team through a variety of sales, marketing, and business development initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Research prospective clientele for use in a CRM tool for sales purposes
- Assist with data input, organization, and development of a CRM tool
- Support the ongoing management and upkeep of the CRM tool
- Assist with the development of digital sales collateral (presentations, one-pagers, graphics, etc.)
- Assist with the distribution and management of digital sales collateral
- Support business development activities, including lead generation and outreach
- Help develop and maintain a library of sales collateral for easy access and use
- Assist with the management and follow-up of sales leads
- Assist with the development of client case studies and success stories
- Contribute written and graphic content for the website
- Assist with website needs, including creation of new content, updates, and graphics
- Support social media efforts, including editorial calendar management, content generation, posting, and data collection
- Assist with marketing initiatives for both the company and its clients
- Perform other duties as assigned related to CRM tool management, research, business development, marketing, and social media
- Current college student actively pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data and learning new software tools (CRM experience a plus, but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Interest in public transit, community engagement, or business development is a bonus
- Compensation: Paid (up to $20/hour based on experience)
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week
- Duration: Minimum 4-month commitment, with preference for candidates seeking a longer-term internship
