We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager to support the Regional Manager and our growing Service Department in Congers, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working alongside the Regional Service Manager you will oversee and work in the service department by assisting customers, answering phone calls, and helping the service manager.
- Scheduling customer service appointments and gathering customer information.
- Prepare and complete accurate estimates for cost of Parts & Labor
- Verify final invoices, ensuring they reconcile with work performed on the repair order.
- Explain all completed work and charges to the customer.
- Manage scheduling, dispatching, and repair order flow to optimize shop capacity.
- Support the Service Manager in developing staff, monitoring performance metrics, and achieving department goals.
- Partner with the Purchasing Specialist to maintain proper ordering, receiving and inventory of parts.
- Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Emergency Vehicle Dealership Service Department.
- Proven leadership ability with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Diesel Truck Experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must be willing to submit employment background check.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
