What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flatbed Tow Operator position at HENDRICKSON EMERGENCY SERVICES INC?
Hendrickson Emergency Services is one of the fastest growing company's on Long Island. With over 40 years servicing Emergency Vehicles we are looking to add an experienced Flatbed Tow Operator to serve our Emergency Truck clients in a safe and timely manner.
Tow Driver's assist with vehicle breakdowns and accidents. They drive to the scene of an accident or vehicle breakdown, connect the damaged vehicle to the truck, and tow the vehicle safely back.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
- Keep your truck clean and in good condition
Qualifications:
- A Clean Drivers License and company will assist to obtain Tow Endorsement
- At least one year of experience as a Flatbed Driver
- Weekend Availability
- Basic mechanical skills
- Attention to detail when documenting work
- Physical strength and stamina
