We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a maintenance technician at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital (HBH). In this role, performs upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting on machinery, equipment, and building systems to prevent downtime and optimize performance. This role requires skills in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, along with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Communicate daily with a facility's management about issues in the building
- Respond to building occupants' requests for service and maintenance
- Evaluate and repair any plumbing not in good working order
- Make sure that electrical systems are in safe and working condition
- Stay current on safety measures for fire, carbon monoxide and other alarms
- Work with and maintain tools and equipment necessary to perform work duties
- Paint and fix up parts of the building or facility that may be in disrepair
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: High school diploma preferred.
- Experience: Preferably one (1) year experience in maintenance field.
- Additional Skill Requirements: Crisis prevention/management training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $25.00 to $28.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our maintenance technician!
