As a Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control / Clinical Educator, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. This position involves overseeing infection control measures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include implementing infection prevention protocols, educating healthcare teams on best practices, and conducting training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge.

• Implement and oversee infection control measures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment within the hospital.
• Develop and update infection control policies in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance clinical knowledge and promote adherence to best infection control practices in patient care; fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with infection control policies and procedures across the hospital.
• Conduct investigations in the event of infectious disease outbreaks and formulate effective response strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement timely and appropriate interventions during outbreaks.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education & Licensure: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing; valid Indiana State license to practice as a Registered Nurse and demonstrates an understanding of the epidemiology and infectious disease principles in the hospital. MSN preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and experience with infection control preferred. Nursing leadership in training and formulating curriculum preferred.
• Additional Skill Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position, and the expected compensation range is $45.00-$53.00 hourly.  We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our  Clinical Educator!
