Job Summary
Patient Care Techs (PCTs) provide personal care, health-related services, and assist with activities of daily living. CNAs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of nursing staff. PCTs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education. Telemetry PCTs provide care for primarily adult patients who require cardiac monitoring. They attend to those who are being treated to manage illness and/or recovering from a procedure of surgical intervention.
