What are we hiring for? This is a Full Time opportunity at Hendrick Honda in Concord, NC. Driving an integral role in the customer experience, the Lube Technician is trained to complete routine express lube maintenance on vehicles to prevent them from future breakdowns or issues. We're looking for teammates with a passion for customer service and a DRIVE TO WIN.

$17 per hour and above (based on factors such as Technician level, automotive certifications, and job performance).
What You'll Learn
The position requires regular and predictable attendance in-person at an automotive dealership. Scheduled shifts are typically 5-days per week, rotating Saturdays, and may include holidays.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Environment Demands
Duties are performed primarily in the automotive service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, service advisors and the service manager.
Verbal And Writing Ability
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.

What You'll Learn
- Fundamentals of braking systems, theory, components, specifications and measurements, proper inspection procedures, as well as related equipment and tool operation.
- How to properly diagnose and repair vehicle electrical system issues.
- Heating, cooling and A/C theory, hands-on diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Improve your ability to inspect and service steering and suspension systems.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Satisfactory auto technology training and/or work experience.
- Mechanical Knowledge, Customer Focused, Attention to Detail, Time Management, Problem-Solving, Organization, Team Oriented.
