Maintenance Technician
Join our team at Henderson Turf Farm! We are looking for a Maintenance Technician. You will be working with heavy equipment, compact heavy equipment, agricultural, small motor and medium duty trucks. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and skills across a broad range of equipment. A background in automotive technology is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Fleet preventative maintenance services and DOT inspections on tractors and trailers
- Keep thorough records of maintenance and repairs.
Requirements and skills
- Self motivated with the willingness to address any task required
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
- Aptitude in using various hand tools
- Ability to follow procedures and practices and read instruction
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Maintenance and repairs on multiple makes and models of trucks and trailers
- Welding knowledge is a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs at minimum
- Experienced with computer onboard diagnostics
- Additional schooling/training a plus
- Valid driver's license No DUI/OVI's
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in all climate conditions inside and outside
- Uniforms provided
Schedule
- Monday to Friday day or evening shift available.
- Overtime available.
- Saturday availability; During Peak Busy Season.
