- Act as a fluent bilingual interpreter between English-speaking healthcare professionals and Spanish-speaking patients during medical consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments.
- Accurately translate medical terminology, patient histories, consent forms, and treatment instructions while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review and interpret medical records, documentation, and social work reports to support comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with interpretation for child protective services cases and hospital social work assessments to ensure clear communication of sensitive information.
- Provide interpretation services for telehealth sessions, community outreach programs, and emergency situations as needed.
