Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-time Personal Banker at our Giltner, NE branch. A Personal Banker is the first contact anyone, who walks in the door or drives through, has with the bank. It is important to be pleasant, personable, and accurate in order to meet the needs of the customer.
Qualifications:
A personable individual that is willing to learn, pays attention to detail, is able to multitask, is well organized, has a desire to meet the financial needs of the banks customers and community, provide excellent customer service, work well with others, have skills in conflict resolution, and practice confidentiality with customer’s private information.
Experience with Microsoft Office, handling/counting money, understanding of debits and credits, basic math and a calculator.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25lbs, standing or sitting throughout the day
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Counting the cash that goes in and out of their drawer each day
- Taking cash, checks, and other payment forms from customers
- Filling out internal paperwork neatly and accurately
- Answer account-related questions for customers as well as open new accounts
- Prepare specialized types of funds for customers including Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders
- Place Customer orders for checks and bank cards
- Electronically record each transaction as it happens
- Process work throughout and at the end of the day
- Support co-workers in providing excellent customer service, maintaining office equipment, and keeping the office organized.
- Opening new accounts: personal, business, HSA's, IRA's & Certificates of Deposit
