Position Available: Dimensional Engineer (GD&T / visVSA)
Location: Tucson, Arizona - fully onsite (relocation support available)
Salary: $120,000 - $200,000 (DoE) Benefits
Experience needed: We’re seeking a Mechanical / Dimensional Engineer with strong hands-on experience using visVSA (Siemens Variation Analysis) and proven GD&T capability. The role requires experience performing dimensional and variation analysis on complex mechanical assemblies.
About the role:
You’ll join a specialist engineering team working on complex mechanical assemblies within a high-reliability engineering environment. The primary focus of this role is dimensional management and variation analysis, using visVSA to assess assembly variation, influence GD&T decisions, and ensure designs are robust and manufacturable. You’ll work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams, acting as a technical reference for dimensional engineering and supporting best practices across the wider organisation.
What we need from you:
- Extensive experience working within a complex engineering environment such as aerospace, automotive or defence
- Strong hands-on experience with visVSA / Siemens Variation Analysis
- Proven ability to recommend and apply GD&T in line with ASME Y14.5
- Experience performing tolerance stack-ups and dimensional variation analysis
- Background in Dimensional Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Product Definition
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams
