My client is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a fast-paced plaintiffs' litigation practice handling high-stakes federal and state court matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, mass torts, commercial litigation, and class actions. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced trial attorneys on complex, high-value cases, including multidistrict litigation (MDL) and multicounty litigation (MCL), while gaining meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on litigation experience.
The ideal candidate will:
* Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, expert disclosures, and other substantive litigation filings
* Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategy through analysis of medical records, expert reports, scientific literature, and other evidence
* Take and defend depositions and participate in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
* Manage an active caseload through all phases of litigation, from inception through settlement or verdict
* Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and the court in a professional, client-focused manner
