Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of homes and/ or commercial buildings according to company standards
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a polished appearance
- Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and surface sanitizing with precision
- Conduct routine custodial tasks including restocking supplies and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or facilities maintenance as needed to support operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution
Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and carpet extraction is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
