HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a Welder of truck-mounted equipment, you will be responsible for consistently producing high quality weldments through the use of provided blueprints or documentation to achieve daily schedule attainment to meet customer demand. Welders are responsible for the set-up, operation, adjustment, and regulation of welding machines. Welds with or without the use of fixtures. May utilize various tools to cut, grind, bevel, fit metals together and remove slag. Performs designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 5S activities, and maintains all safety standards.

- 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) and 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Friday)
- 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) and 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Friday)
- 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) and 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Friday)

Performs designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 5S activities, and maintains all safety standards.
- Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines.
- Weld parts using the GMAW (MIG) welding process.
- Monitor and control weld variables to ensure weld size and quality standards are met.
- Produce quality weldments that meet daily production requirements.
- Utilize blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to manufacture quality products.
- Identify various gauges and types of steel.
- Operate hand and power tools, grinders, torches, and handheld plasma equipment.
- Apply basic shop math to complete assigned tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to complete job assignments.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental and production goals.
- Communicate effectively, timely, and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Maintain established 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Support scrap reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
- Set welding machines and troubleshoot weld quality issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
