HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a full-time Parts Lead, you will be responsible for providing support to the Installation Technicians on the shop floor through researching, procuring, and distributing production parts and equipment. The Parts lead role is an essential to maintaining appropriate inventory controls and ensuring the consistent flow of trucks through the shop and also provides daily monitoring of other inventory personnel at the location. This position assists with shipment and receipt of parts and equipment and takes a proactive approach to ensure inventory is delivered at the appropriate time to support operations. Overall inventory layout, planning, and management is achieved through working together with other inventory personnel. The inventory lead is responsible for embodying all of Henderson's winning behaviors and is an ambassador for supporting a positive culture.

- Provide direction to other inventory team personnel
- Manage overall inventory in the parts area and investigate and corrects inventory discrepancies
- Utilizes visual management to provide timely responses to operational partners
- Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls and assumes responsibility for adherence to processes
- Shares responsibility for maintaining and improving standard operating procedures, inventory control routines and performance management with the inventory manager and site manager
- Management of vendor managed inventory
- Internal/external customer parts order shipment
- Chassis check-in upon arrival and completion of door tags, delivery tickets, and ensuring manual binders leave with trucks at time of departure
- Missing part/component research
- Data entry in Henderson ERP system
- Management of annual physical inventory
- Participate in company Kaizen events and facility 5s
- Manage staging of parts and equipment for upcoming jobs
- May be assigned related duties other than those specified

- Technological skills required with the ability to learn a new ERP as well as all Microsoft products, including Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills

- Experience delegating and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience managing others
- Must be able to operate a lift truck confidently
- Minimum of High School Diploma or work experience equivalent required. Associates degree desired.
- Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, lifting, and standing
- Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
