Henderson Municipal Power & Light (HMP&L), is seeking an Electric Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Administrator. This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the SCADA and Outage Management System (OMS) to ensure reliable operations of the electric utility system. This is an in-office, full-time, exempt position. Minimum requirements include: residency within a 30-minute response time from the Service Center Complex (1213 Barret Blvd, Henderson, KY); Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance; must pass a drug/alcohol screen, physical exam, and background check upon conditional offer of employment; possess a valid Driver’s License with no DUI convictions in the previous 5 years. Preferred requirements include: three to five years of experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming SCADA and OMS systems in an electric utility environment. Starting annual wage is contingent upon experience, and includes paid vacation, sick leave, health benefits, and other benefits. Applications are available on-line at www.hmpl.com.
