We are seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our production operations. This position helps ensure that jobs move efficiently through the shop by managing documentation, coordinating workflows, and maintaining accurate production data. You’ll work closely with machinists, programmers, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain job travelers for manufacturing operations using ProShop ERP
- Support production planning and scheduling by preparing jobs for release and ensuring all required information and materials are ready
- Assist with data entry and documentation, maintaining accurate production records and job status updates
- Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and shop personnel to ensure materials and resources are available when needed
- Help monitor inventory levels and support material tracking throughout the production process
- Ensure job documentation aligns with quality standards and internal requirements
- Collaborate across departments to improve communication and workflow efficiency
- Assist with shipping and receiving coordination and job movement through the shop
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and helping streamline processes
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working with computers, ERP systems, and data entry
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or machining is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, ProShop or similar is preferred
