Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of customer's experience with service performed by Service Department to include:
- Provide an itemized list of charges to customers upon service completion
- Communicate to customers estimated repair time and cost before starting work
- Oversee progress of repairs in the Service Department and communicate all changes to customer’s
- Manage the administrative functions of the Service Department
- Maintain strong working relationships with Sales and Parts Teams
- Promote the sales of the Service Department through:
- Identifying opportunities with current job orders and make recommendations to customers
- Reviewing service recommendations made to customers that have not been scheduled
- Promoting all incentive programs
- Provide Super Service through best professionalism
Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Service Coordinator or similar role
- Working knowledge of service warranty processes
- Advanced organizational, communication, problem-solving and interpretative skills
- Intermediate technology aptitude to include
- Fluid use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using IDS or similar service management software
- Use of third-party vendor sites for information and ordering
- A natural “Doer” attitude towards customer service and action items
