HHM Talent is assisting a client in North Georgia search for an Automotive Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily accounting functions including AP, AR, billing, cash management, and month-end close
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, schedules, and reconciliations
- Manage and mentor the accounting team
- Monitor and enforce internal controls across all stores
- Partner with department managers and the GM on budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer, lender, and audit requirements
- Prepare and submit factory statements, sales tax, and other required filings
- Assist with year-end audits, cost reviews, and operational improvements
- Support leadership with KPIs, reporting dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Controller required
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting schedules and reconciliations
- Proficient in CDK, Reynolds, DealerTrack, or similar DMS
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
