What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Tech position at Henderson County Community Hospital?
This is a M-F day shift position, with holiday rotations required and occasional weekends needed.
Position Purpose
The CT Tech shall be responsible for performing high quality diagnostic CT imaging studies under the direction of the radiologist or with no supervision. Additional duties as required to maintain an organized department.
Position Qualifications
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered Radiology Technologist with 1-2 years CT experience required and CT registry preferred.
Experience:
Prefer CT Tech with hospital-based experience. Emotionally mature with ability to function well under stress. Must be able to follow directions as well as perform quality studies according to department standards when no supervision is available.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current ARRT registry (American Registry of Radiologic Technology).
(American Heart Association) CPR is required for this position. If current certification has expired at time of hire, applicant must be enrolled in a recertification course with successful completion within 60 days.
