Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to preschool and early childhood development standards
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by encouraging positive behavior management and conflict resolution
- Help supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, supporting inclusive learning environments
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety, comfort, and learning readiness
- Support classroom management by gently guiding children’s behavior and reinforcing rules and routines
- Assist with basic first aid when necessary, ensuring children’s health and safety are prioritized at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers demonstrates valuable caregiving skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and children
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners
