We are looking for a talented Interior Designer who enjoys working closely with homeowners, shaping creative design solutions, and seeing their work come to life during construction.
This position plays an important role in guiding clients through the design process—from early concepts and space planning through finish selections and construction documentation—while collaborating with our estimators, project managers, and carpenters. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys both creative design work and the collaborative, problem-solving nature of residential construction.
What You’ll Do
• Meet with clients to understand their goals, lifestyle needs, and design preferences
• Develop creative design concepts and interior layouts
• Measure existing spaces and produce accurate drawings using Revit
• Prepare design plans, interior elevations, and selection packages
• Guide clients through material, fixture, and finish selections
• Help clients understand how selections impact project budgets
• Coordinate with estimators, production manager, and trade partners
• Provide documentation and specifications for construction
• Support the construction team during installation of design elements
• Manage multiple projects from concept through construction
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
• 2 years of residential interior design experience preferred
• Proficiency in Revit (or strong willingness to learn)
• Knowledge of residential construction and building systems
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
