We are looking to add to our crew of tree climbers/forman/bucket crew. You must demonstrate a strong work ethic, have 2 years experience as a climber, and have led a crew in the past. Summary:
The Tree Climber is a skilled position responsible for tree maintenance, pruning, and removals on residential and commercial properties using ropes, harness, saddle, and/or bucket truck.
Essential Functions:
- Perform pruning and tree removals in accordance with industry standards.
- Assures jobs are completed to quality standards.
- Communicates with clients, crew and supervisors.
- Follows safety guidelines and standards.
- Performs related duties as necessary.
Must demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to work in a team environment where communication skills are essential.
- Ability to perform strenuous work in ALL weather conditions.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to demonstrate accuracy for high quality of care.
- Knowledge and execution of proper pruning per ISA standards.
- Possess tree and plant identification skills.
- Demonstrated climbing ability.
- Demonstrate knowledge of climbing knots.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills both orally and written
- 2 years climbing experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience (if applying for foreman)
- Must have a valid Driver's License (class c) (class b or a desired)
