Commercial Chiller Service Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
You will play a key role in ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC systems in a variety of commercial settings such as hospitals, office buildings, data centers, and manufacturing plants.
Perform routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc.
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues related to chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and related systems.
Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations and standards
Collaborate with other HVAC technicians and engineers to support building systems and client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with commercial chillers
Universal EPA 608 certification required
Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
Experience with manufacturers such as Trane, York, Carrier, Daikin, or similar
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, lift 50 lbs, and access confined spaces or rooftop units

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
