Hen House Eatery is seeking a dependable and organized Restaurant Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and help maintain excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities
- Support daily restaurant operations and guest-service activities.
- Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift.
- Guide and support servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and other team members.
- Monitor food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and service standards.
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
- Respond to guest questions, requests, and routine service concerns professionally.
- Help maintain efficient guest flow and timely order service.
- Monitor food, beverage, and restaurant supply levels.
- Assist with organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
- Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational checklists.
- Communicate staffing and operational needs to restaurant management.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or food-service experience.
- Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or team-lead experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy restaurant environment.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant procedures is helpful.
- Ability to support, train, and motivate team members.
