Position Summary
The Field Application Specialist (FAS) partners with physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and healthcare facilities to implement, adopt, and grow the HemWell procedure. This customer-facing, field-based role provides clinical training, procedural support, workflow guidance, and account development to drive adoption, utilization, and customer success. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-building skills with a passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Implementation & Training
- Support first-case procedures and onsite implementations.
- Train physicians and staff on product use, workflow integration, and procedural best practices.
- Lead customer onboarding and ensure successful adoption of the HemWell procedure.
Customer Success, Growth & Retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practice managers, and clinical teams.
- Conduct regular account visits to assess adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify barriers to utilization and growth opportunities and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Partner with sales to support account retention, expansion, and new account launches.
- Provide ongoing education, clinical support, and operational guidance to drive successful adoption.
- Capture customer feedback and share market insights with internal teams.
Performance Tracking & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training activities, and account visits.
- Track account utilization and provide regular updates to management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, clinical, and leadership teams to support customer success initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical support, customer success, or medical sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a travel-intensive schedule.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within an assigned territory.
Preferred
- Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in medical sales, healthcare account management, or customer success.
- Experience working with physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, GI practices, colorectal practices, or medical device organizations.
- Experience training clinicians or supporting procedural technologies.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline.
