This is a remote role with responsibility for Texas and surrounding states and may also include other U.S. States as needed to support the business.

About The Role
Hempel, a global leader in coatings and paints, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Marine Sales team in Texas. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key accounts, and winning new business in the U.S. marine market.
This is a remote role with responsibility for Texas and surrounding states and may also include other U.S. States as needed to support the business.
What You Need To Be Successful
- 5 years strategic advisory, consulting, or B2B sales within the marine industry.
- Proven success in closing multimillion-dollar customer deals.
- Strong understanding of marine industry dynamics, regulations, and market opportunities.
- Experience navigating regulatory environments; lobbying/advocacy a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or maritime school background preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Business-minded with the ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive solutions.
- CRM proficiency and fluency in English (Spanish a plus).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Approximately 25% travel, plus occasional additional travel as needed
