Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Scientist based in New York, NY. The Scientist will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of novel therapeutic interventions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating on research projects, optimizing experimental protocols, and maintaining accurate records of findings. Additionally, the Scientist will be expected to stay updated on relevant scientific advancements and actively contribute to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Expertise in in vivo experimentation using humanized mouse models
- Expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques, including but not limited to PCR, sequencing, and cellular assays
- Proficiency in immunology methods such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and immune cell profiling
- Experience in tissue culture, genetic engineering techniques including CRISPR, or stem cell research
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with software platforms used in scientific research
- Ability to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments independently
- Proven track record of scientific problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills for cross-functional research work
- PhD in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Immunology, or Biomedical Sciences, or equivalent experience
- Industry experience in biopharmaceutical research is a plus
