HEMI is hiring! We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager specialized in Industrial Construction to support project planning, coordination, and execution. Duties
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using construction management software.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Support the preparation of construction estimates utilizing current estimating tools.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and update schedules accordingly.
- Assist in managing project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
- Support site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate on procurement activities and assist with contract administration.
- Participate in site visits to oversee construction activities and verify work quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within industrial or heavy civil projects.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and related tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction site operations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory; relevant internships will also be considered.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
