DEFINITION
Under direction, to teach and instruct pupils in Grades K – 5 to organize and
implement quality, inspiring and engaging music lessons for elementary students. Collaborating with other music teachers to plan performances and
recruitment, developing Choir programs and delivering a well-rounded curriculum are core elements.
Hemet Unified School District is one of the largest geographic areas of any district in California. It covers over 650 square miles of very diverse topography; from valley flatlands to foothills to mountains. It serves a growing community with a current enrollment of nearly 21,000 students.
