Hemet Unified School District is one of the largest geographic areas of any district in California. It covers over 650 square miles of very diverse topography; from valley flatlands to foothills to mountains. It serves a growing community with a current enrollment of nearly 21,000 students. DEFINITION (DEPENDING ON ASSIGNMENT) Under direction, to teach and instruct pupils in academic, social, behavioral, and other related skill areas; to plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive education program for early childhood and primary grade pupils; to assist pupils, parents, and others in aiding pupils in adjusting to a structured educational environment; and to do other related functions as required.
