- Assess and document patient responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients about their condition and treatment options, responding to their questions empathetically.
- Perform pre-treatment checks on dialysis machines and maintain equipment according to safety protocols.
- Report incidents and concerns to the RN Supervisor or CEO as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care and support each other.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active state licensure with a clean record.
- At least one year of RN experience, with a minimum of six months in nephrology.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an accredited organization.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to ongoing education in nephrology.
- Ability to lift and assist patients and equipment safely.
- Requires prolonged periods of standing and frequent heavy lifting (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases and biohazards in a healthcare environment.
- Must be able to travel between hospital locations and work varied shifts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Adherence to proper body mechanics is crucial in preventing injuries.
