Help Wanted: Part-Time Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper
LOCATION: ON SITE IN GRUNDY CENTER, IA
Hours: 16–20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
About the role
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time team member to support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities may include
- Accounts payable/receivable support (invoicing, bill entry, payments)
- QuickBooks data entry and account reconciliations
- Bank/credit card reconciliations and basic reporting
- Excel tracking, spreadsheets, and summaries
- Filing, document organization, and general administrative support as needed
Required qualifications
- Working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred (nice to have)
- Prior experience in a small business or professional services setting
- Experience preparing payroll, sales tax, or month-end close support
