DescriptionWe’re currently looking for a Full Time Nanny in Pelham, New York 10803A lovely family in Pelham, near the Metro North trainline, is seeking a reliable Nanny for their 9-month-old son, with occasional support for their 3-year-old son as well. Care is needed Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm in the family home.The ideal candidate would be engaging, experienced, and eager to work with two wonderful children!Schedule:Monday through Friday9:00am to 5:00pmOvertime opportunities some evenings extending schedule to 7pmStart date: ASAPLength of Position: Long-termRate: $27-32 per hourNumber of children:Care is primarily for 1 child - occasional support for second child during school closures / sick daysResponsibilitiesAll aspects of care and monitoring, including:Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestonesLight meal / bottle prepMaintain child's schedules and routines as set by parentsCommunicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may ariseMaintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as children’s dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toysWalking/Driving to nearby playgrounds, activities and lessonsRequirementsLegally authorized to work in the United States2 years of paid, professional toddler care experienceMust be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greaterCPR certified or willing to become certifiedMust have valid photo IDMust be able to successfully clear a background and social media checkMust be comfortable with family’s friendly, medium-sized dogUp-to-date on vaccinations: Flu, Covid, TdapCompensationPosition pays $27-32 per hour and client is looking for 40 hours per week.
