We’re currently looking for a Full Time Nanny in San Diego, CA 92111
A lovely family in Clairemont is seeking a full-time nanny for their curious 1-year-old, with a tentative start date of Monday, January 5, 2026. Care is needed Monday through Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Their little one loves reading, outdoor play and walks, playing with their toys and exploring the world around them. The child has food allergies as well as eczema, so the family is ideally seeking a nanny with first-hand experience managing similar conditions. The ideal candidate will be attentive, engaging, and dependable.
- Start Date: Monday, January 5, 2026
- Length of Position: 6 months, with the possibility to extend to 12 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
- Compensation: $25 per hour with mid-year & end of year bonus ($1,000 each)
Responsibilities
- Bottle and solid food feeding
- Preparing solid foods and meals for the child with awareness of food allergies
- Age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities and play with child
- Diaper changes
- Child's laundry
- Tidying up spaces related to the child
- Communicate with parents and update on child's day and progress
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional toddler care experience
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide two childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully complete a background and social media screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- ECE credits are a plus
- Spanish or German speaking is a plus
Compensation Benefits
This position pays $25 per hour and the family is looking for 40 hours of care per week.
