DescriptionWe’re currently looking for a Backup Babysitter in Redwood City, CA 94061A lovely family near Farm Hill in Redwood City is seeking a Backup Babysitter to help care for their 1 year old son. Care will be on an as-needed basis when their regular care provider is unavailable between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.Most care needs will have advanced notice. Care givers need not be available for all requests but should be flexible.Note there are no guaranteed hours for this position.Schedule:As-needed / OccasionalMonday - Friday | 8:00am to 4:00pmStart date: ASAPRate: $40 per hourResponsibilitiesAll aspects of care and monitoring for one toddler, including:Engaging in developmentally appropriate activitiesLight meal prepMaintain child's schedules and routines as set by parentsCommunicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may ariseMaintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as baby's dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toysRequirementsLegally authorized to work in the United States2 years of paid, professional toddler care experienceMust be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greaterCPR certified or willing to become certifiedUp-to-date Flu VaccinationMust have valid Photo IDMust be able to successfully clear a background and social media checkMust be comfortable with family’s catCompensationPosition pays $40 per hour and client is looking for occasional backup care.
