Job Summary
Our distribution center is looking for a dependable and experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our team. This is an order picking role, so your main tasks will involve using the forklift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment. Other tasks include keeping track of inventory changes and completing daily production reports. Applicants should have at least six months to a year of experience operating a cherry picker forklift, and some shipping and receiving experience is preferred. All applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Duties and Responsibilities
Use a cherry picker forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves
Inbound, Outbound and Put Away
Keep track of shipments and product relocation's within the warehouse
Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
Follow all safety regulations
Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
Six or more months of experience operating a cherry picker or forklift
Certification is required
Hand-eye coordination
Mechanical skills
Physical stamina
