Monday through Thursday

About This Case:
We are seeking a patient, safety-focused caregiver for a senior male client in a private home setting. The client is mentally alert, conversational, kind, motivated, and enjoys meaningful interaction. This case requires a caregiver who is comfortable with personal care, mobility support, fall prevention, companionship, and light housekeeping.
- Personal care assistance
- Dressing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Toileting-related clothing assistance as needed
- Mobility support and fall prevention
- Safety supervision throughout the shift
- Companionship, conversation, and encouragement
- Light housekeeping, bed making, tidying, and laundry
- Simple meal preparation and fluid encouragement
- Medication reminders only, as directed by the care plan
- Observation and reporting of changes in condition, mood, balance, strength, or safety
- Accurate documentation of care provided
- Following the written care plan and agency policies
- Minimum age of 18
- Proven caregiving experience preferred
- Experience with seniors, personal care, mobility support, rehab recovery, and fall-risk clients preferred
- Compassionate, professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to work independently in a private home setting
- Able to follow directions and care plans
- Able to maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Physically capable of assisting with personal care, mobility support, and light housekeeping
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid current driver’s license required
- Current car insurance required
- Good driving record required
- Proof of identity and work authorization for Form I-9
- Valid current driver’s license
- Social Security card
- Birth certificate
- Proof of high school completion or equivalent
- Current car insurance
- Comprehensive background check required
- Drug screening, if applicable
- Five verifiable professional references required
- No friends or family references accepted
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of screening, documentation, and reference verification
- Must arrive on time and ready to work
- Must follow Helping Hearts attendance, call-out, and scheduling policies
- Must not make last-minute schedule changes once assigned without office approval
- Must communicate concerns or incidents to the office immediately
- Must document care accurately
- Must maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Must wear solid navy blue scrubs and closed-toe dark shoes
- Must be respectful to clients, families, coworkers, and office staff
- Must follow the care plan as written
