Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in the Wetumpka, AL area. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring, including use of assistive devices.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition or behavior to supervisors or family members.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare providers or family members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client privacy and confidentiality.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Work Environment

This position involves working in clients’ homes throughout Wetumpka, AL. The role may require physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
