Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Clinical Supervisor for Children's Mental Health oversees clinical staff, ensures quality care standards, and manages regulatory compliance specifically for pediatric mental health services.
Key Responsibilities have to be licensed and operating in OHIO
- Clinical Supervision: Provide individual and group clinical supervision to social workers, counselors, and interns providing therapy to children and adolescents.
- Quality Assurance: Review client charts, treatment plans, and clinical notes to ensure high standards of care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Program Oversight: Monitor the delivery of children's mental health programs, ensuring evidence-based practices (such as CBT or play therapy) are used correctly.
- Crisis Management: Guide staff through complex clinical crises, child protection reporting (CPS), and high-risk pediatric cases.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs for the clinical team and conduct professional development workshops on pediatric mental health topics.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or independent social work license (LISW in Ohio) in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in children and adolescent mental health therapy.
- Supervisory Experience: Prior experience in clinical supervision, team leadership, or program coordination preferred.
- Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of child development, family systems, trauma-informed care, and local mental health service networks
- Compensation: $100 per hour
- Time Commitment: 1 to 3 hours per week (highly flexible scheduling)
