Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Monitor patients' health by observing and reporting changes in their condition.
- Support individuals with disabilities and those suffering from dementia by providing specialized care techniques.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed, ensuring the safety of both the caregiver and the client.
- Administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary, following established protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
