Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development for toddlers.
- Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times, practicing vigilant child supervision and classroom management.
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene activities in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Engage children in play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and early childhood development milestones.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by helping with setup, cleanup, and sanitization of toys and learning materials.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviors, and daily activities to foster strong home-school connections.
- Follow mandated reporting laws and health protocols diligently to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development instruction principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to nurturing young learners’ growth.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
