What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Helping Hands Personal Care LLC?
This is a Second shift position start time and days are:
Tuesday-Thursday 4:30PM to 8:30PM
Every other Friday, Saturday 4:30PM to 8:30PM
Every other Sunday 9am to 6 PM
We do have more hours available in Waukesha.
Must have a valid license must be able to pass a Background check
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
- Assist with mobility and physical support, including lifting when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health or behavior.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
- Deliver hospice care when required, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages.
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing direct support tailored to their needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Requirements
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation purposes Also must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. No uber or lift.
