Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload items.
- Ensuring products are handled with care.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
- Load cargo securely and verify shipment accuracy before departure, unload deliveries at customer locations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; physical stamina required for loading/unloading cargo.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for driving.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and adapt to changing schedules or routes.
Pay: Up to $500.00 per week
