Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the new patient intake phone line to educate prospective clients on services offered by Helping Hands Family.
- Communicate with clients in the admissions process on status, timelines and any additional information needed.
- Work with families to receive proper paperwork needed to start the intake process, including speaking with office of diagnosing physician if needed.
- Work with prospective, new, and existing clients to gather the correct insurance information needed to determine covered services/verification of benefits.
- Manage the practice management (PM) system and electronic medical records system (EMR) for data integrity, including entering, organizing, and auditing client data.
- Act as a liaison between designated market/clinic locations, families, and insurance as needed.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Previous experience in a related healthcare field preferred
- Passion for helping families access support for their children
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
