Helping Hands Clinic is seeking a Clinic and Pharmacy Support Coordinator who provides clinical and administrative support to medical providers at Helping Hands Clinic. Serves as a liaison between providers, Pharmacy, Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and volunteers. Ensures a positive patient experience through scheduling, communication, and follow-up care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient voicemails, ensuring calls are returned within 24 hours.
- Coordinate urgent care scheduling, including walk-ins.
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and signed charts.
- Follow up on patient labs, x-rays, and abnormal reports as directed.
- Collaborate with Front Office and Pharmacy to process prescription refills within 72 hours.
- Assist with patient follow up and with volunteer scheduling.
- Review medical supplies and check life-saving equipment.
- Maintain logs for injectables and vaccinations.
- Submit and track PAP refill applications; communicate with drug manufacturers.
- Back up Pharmacy and PAP Manager, assisting with medication dispensing and PAP applications.
- Support clinic reporting, audits, and fundraising efforts.
- Adhere to HIPAA standards and clinic policies.
- Enthusiastically participate as a member of the Helping Hands Team.
